China is pretty cool

So the opening ceremony was amazing. Good luck to London, home of the 2012 games, you haveĀ  quite a show to try and top.

I have been watching the games on a 60″ LCD HD TV with full surround (thank you Jon) and I must admit that if you have the means, I highly recommend it. It’s the only way to watch live events.

Focus on me

So I have been working recently at work and I have to tell you, I’ve missed it. It feels good to work on something you enjoy. I have been burned out from real estate but I love working on web sites and code. Code is awesome, you can do anything with code. Design, develop, simplify, etc. I don’t know how to program, but I know how to use and design other peoples programs.

Lately I have been using Salesforce and Google. Semi-Open source software. Did you know that you can start a business using Salesforce as your CRM, GoogleDocs as your office software, Gmail to run and host your business email, WordPress for your blog and web site management. Total cost: ~$55/mo.

If you are a small business with less than 100 employees, you should be listing your company on Google Local Search and utilizing YouTube to host a viral video you made about your service. You should also hire someone to manage your PPC account and, depending on your business, you should stop throwing your cash at the yellow pages. Instead, give it to me and my peeps and we can turn your mom and pop business into a mom and pop business that your kids will want to take over.

In the meantime, you can watch a little video about Google Docs:

they won’t give up, they want me dead, God damn this noise inside my head
