You don't need an iPod to PodCast

The move is (mostly) complete. I left some stuff at 81st and I have to pick it up. Do I want to? Not really, but why not. This weekend is my parents’ 35th wedding anniversary and we are having a party. So the taco lady, beer man, and about 100 people are stopping by. So in addition to my birthday, a move from east to west, and the busiest month in my work life, I have also been planning a party, getting things together and trying to make things run smoothly. To say the least, I’m ready for Sunday to be here. As of Sunday, I will have no plans except to veg in front of the TV and watch nothing. Actually, I have to find ways to get the Replays networked and start sharing their programs, hopefully all without wires.

I am totally addicted to PodCast. I listen at work all day to what is essentially talk radio with out commercials. There are a few good shows out there, and I’m still digging through the junk to get to the good stuff. As it now stands, PodCasting is easy to do, so everybody is now doing it. So there are some good stuff, some bad stuff, some stuff I get through and some stuff I never finish. So, of course, I want to PodCast also and add to the useless stuff.

Imagine, Jon Regul and Brian Buller talking about movies and cinema, Michael Jung giving you hot tips on all the music you should be listening to and clubs you should be checking out, and Michael Montez spilling my stories and running the whole show. What grandness it would be; the Noise Inside My Head PodCast. My dreams of DJ would finally be fulfilled.

Thanks to all who called/emailed me on my birthday. It was good to hear from you. Moving sucks, stuff is heavy, and stairs are cumbersome. I plan to not move again in about five years. The house is great. It was nice to finally see it. I like the layout and the fact that there is an extra room/area with a curved fireplace. It’s cool. Hardwood floors are abundant and the windows and shutters are pretty cool. The landlord, Leslie, had the place painted and floors cleaned, so the place looked good. Already, we are planning our house warming party (at least I am) and look for an invitation in the future (cuz it ain’t in the past).

I’ve already said too much, so I am done. If you want a NIMH t-shirt, send me an email with your address and size. It’s free. Also, nobody has sent me anything for the newsletter, so don’t it’s off the shelf till we start our PodCast. montez @ gmail.com

  1. I’ll take two of those free NIMH tees. What colors and styles do you have? I definitely want one in a ringer style. Let me know so I can place my order!
