Twenty-Eight days later

We’ll we’re back, kind of. I mean not to deprive you of my ramblings no longer. So I am returned.

As you may have noticed, some things have changed. We have a new menu header (at the top, under the date), and there is a photo across the top. Now click the “refresh” button on your web browser, you might get a different photo (currently there are only two images, but I plan to get create more).Below the photo, on the left side (you’re reading it now), that�s the blog. It contains one entry only (but that could change).

In the middle is a feed from the new e-fs Bulletin Board. It contains the ten most recent topics, articles and happenings. I will be filling it with goodness soon. You can sign up and start creating topics. I will keep it organized and move threads as I see needed.

Finally, on the right, is the mo-blog or PHONE BLOG, filled with pictures taken from my new Motorola V600. It will list the five most recent images.

As before, you can post comments (for the blog and mo-blog), read past entries, and whatever else it is you used to do.

Things I will be adding or changing: I am still green when it comes to php coding, but I want to mess with the movable type files and try to have a killer archive system. I want to have a mo-blog image library, like mobile.rightonbro.com, I will add links to all my peeps (as before), etc. etc. etc.

Now, tell me what you would like to see, don�t like or are having trouble viewing. Is the type too small, too big, all over the place, or something like that? Let me know.

    1. I like the home page. I wouldn’t change a thing. I hope that you fill the picture part up with tons of stuff, so that there is plenty new stuff whenever I visit you sight. I think the more personal photos are a lot more interesting than the artsy photos.

    2. My only advise about the forum is to spice up the look of it. I would have done it to my forum if I knew how to read code. I tried once, but got confused and gave up. Also, if you want to have boardnation or allow me to link to your forum I would like to do so. There is not much point in having the two forums.

    3. I like the comments as a popup. It allows me to leave a comment without being ushered off the site. Now that there is more than a blog at NIMH I might want to explore the site w/o having to press the back button.

    4. I really like the huge list in the archive, but is there a way to add search fuction and and a listing by date. I actually look for stuff and it makes it a lot easier to find.

  2. Glad you’re back. I was going through reading withdrawls. I couldn’t see the picture at the top. Actually, I can see it, but it’s too small to make out.

    Also, I agree w/ Brian about spicing it up a little. I like the clean look, but a little color to off-set is nice. Other than that, I am looking forward to looking around.
