This weekend, another Apple Store opened. This time in San Francisco. People often argue which computer platform is “better”, Apple or WinTel. I’m not going to rehash the argument for the sake of hearing myself talk, but we all know that 1200 people have never lined up or slept outside on the street in front of PC Club or Best Buy to get their hands on a HP or Compaq. Only for the Apple computers do they line up.
I went with Brian one fateful morning about four years ago to the very first Apple store in the Glendale Galleria. We got there about an hour before the store opened and there was a line zigzagging through the mall. We waited two hours just to get into the place. I still have my GG Apple T-shirt; I have sold the computer.
So WinTel “lovers”, that’s nice that you have a computer that breaks down every couple if weeks and is virus prone, and generally doesn’t always work. When you’re ready to feel the love, visit an Apple Store near you.
