That guys name is really Moneymaker

Today events begin at the 2004 World Series of Poker. No, not at 81st street, but at Binions Horeshoe Casino in Downtown Las Vegas. This month long event starts with a $500, Casino Employee’s Event and culminates with the Grandest of all poker games, the $10,000 buy-in, No Limit Hold ‘Em World Championship. This year, an estimated 1600 people will shell out the $10,000 buy-in for a chance to be named 2004 WSOP Champion and take home $3.25 million.

You can get your ass to your local card club and try to win a seat into the event, or head to Vegas on Saturday, May 22nd, at 1pm, with $10,000 (cash or credit card – I suggest American Express) and try your luck. As for me…I’m going to give the pros a break and wait till next year.

  1. Lady luck will be so packed since it’s right next to the horseshoe. How about we split it, mike? 5G a piece and I’ll play.

  2. Hey Montez, since you are getting rid of your assests, you should think about listing all your stuff on your website like…Craiglist. Your friends might want to buy your crap. You should also make it so that your friends can sell stuff too. Plus, it would add yet another thing to look at on your site. I think it might be cool but then again its not my website.
