So Saturday night was the 1st TDP (the design people) Prom. The theme was Enchantment Under the Sea Dance, an homage to the 80’s classic Back to the Future. It was held at the Best Western in Marina Del Rey.

On Thursday, I rented my tuxedo (Elite Tuxedo in Westwood, I highly recommend them) and ordered some flowers. When the day arrived, Caroline and I dressed up nice and pretty and headed to dinner at The Warehouse in Marina Del Rey. Several of my co-workers and us met before the dance to enjoy some dinner.

After dinner, we headed to the prom. Here’s how this prom differed from high school proms, no bid to buy and open bar.

Caroline and I, as well as everyone else, took full advantage of the bar situation. We danced, we took a few shots and we took some pictures. I was a great night. Thanks to TDP for hosting a killer event and to Caroline for being such a wonderful date.
