Today is UPFRONT day for FOX Broadcasting. Today is the day that Fox announces their schedule for the next 365. In doing so, they have a big to-do and some of the “important” people are invited. That being said, I am here at the office, alone, updating my blog and playing poker online. What a job.
Last night I fixed Caroline’s computer (now it won’t have any baby computers). Tonight, I will add the HD to Toby’s Replay TV. I love technology.
I played in a tournament on Tuesday. I got passed the break (60 min) and then took down two big hands. So i was just off a pot win, in good position (1 seat right of the dealer) when I picked up A-K off suit. Everybody called around so I raised 500. Dealer – fold, small blind – fold, big blind – raise, all in. Everybody folds to me. Now, I watched this guy play crazy all night and put in $120 in re-buys plus a $40 add-on. I’m telling you, he was playing loose. So I call him and he waits, really waits for me to turn over my cards. I show my A-K and he turns over pocket K-K. Fuck, I ran into pocket kings. My 3rd best starting hand against the 2nd beat starting hand. SO i lost when the Flush, straight, and any A failed to show. My tournament was over, but I learned a bit of a lesson. I can’t tell you what it is, because I’m going to use it in my next tournament.
C’mon, share with us. Let’s see if you really learned something. When we go heads up, I promise I won’t use it against you.
You were just in hurry to pick me up at the airport. and that’s why you play with that shitty hand right?
