So for my birthday 2004, Caroline bought me a 40gb iPod. Included was a extended warranty for the iPod through Apple. Since then, the iPod has gone through two revisions including color screens and now video support. Anyway, I still love my iPod as is. It’s great, the battery last a long time, the screen (although black and white) is crisp and easy to read. My iPod came with so many extras. An in-line remote, two cases, and a dock.
Over Christmas, my iPod started skipping after playing for about an hour. So I headed to the Apple Store so they could look over my iPod.
After about an hour of waiting, it was my turn at the “Genius” Bar. I told her what the problem was and that I had an extended warranty. Ten minutes later, she went to the back of the store and came back with a new 40gb iPod just like my old one. I thought I would be getting a new color version or a video iPod, but I’m happy that I didn’t. I love my iPod, it’s stable, it has a remote, and it sounds great.
The new iPods are great but I love my old, black and white iPod (and it’s brand new too).
