More network news

So I noticed that I was getting some BLOG spam, so I checked movableTYPE to see if there was a cure. There was. So I loaded it and ran the update. ERROR 500–>tried againg, ERROR 500–>again, ERROR 500.

SHIT

That was Monday. I finally reloaded the cgi scripts, changed some properties and ran it again. Well, as you can tell, it worked. So I am back. Ready to ruin your day with my techno-babbel.

Lucky for you, nothing has happened to me in the last two days. However, I am excited about Howard moving to Sirius Satellite Radio. I will definatly be getting a unit in my car. Hopfully they will make a unit that also connects to my iPod by 2006.

  1. Try MT-Blacklist. It can ban IP addresses (although lots of spammers fake them) and regex strings, and it also runs through your existing comments and looks for spam.

  2. I’d pay about $3 a month for radio. The price is still to high to really crash the mainstream.

Cable TV succeeded because it offered a superior number of channels (with your antenna, you got like 15 channels, with cable, you got 50+).

I think commercial radio still offers too much variety and selection for free compared to a $13 dollar a month service.

Despite Howard Stern, I say the future of radio is still on hold.
