Meeko hid my keys

I will try to recap the past few days…here we go.

Friday, I spent quality time with Caroline. We went to In N Out and apparently it was free-soda-for-high-school-students-day. Why, because some guy felt it necessary to throw his Sprite all over us. Good times. We returned home to consume and quickly chilled.

On Saturday, I couldn’t find my keys and I started to panic a bit. Where could they be? If I locked them in the car, I would be so worked. But guess what, it turns out Caroline had put them in her purse. Thanks babe. We went shopping for my mom’s birthday. I got her a George Forman Family-sized Grille and a box of See’s Candy. Caroline insisted that the gift be wrapped, so I let her wrap it. My mom enjoyed it, I think that’s the first gift my mom has not complained about. NICE! I visited my parents and where does my mom want to go for her special birthday dinner…? Non-other than Applebees ::BUST:: So I put up with that and fixed their computer (again) and head back to Burbank. Then it was off to the Icehouse for some comedy.

One comment I have about comedians, if you’re still doing Al Pachino impressions and use “Who-A” and “She’s got a great ass”, you need to update your Al Pachino routine. In addition, one comedy distributor felt the need to use the ABC hit “I’m a Celebrity, Get me out of Here” as her closing bit. So sad. But I had a great time. We went to Harry’s after and had some greasy food.

Sunday, Caroline had a dentist appointment (yeah, on a Sunday) so we headed to Chinaland (San Gabrial) and visited the dentist. Then we had breakfast at this hole in the wall restaurant (cash only) and the people next to us felt it necessary to talk smack about us in Chinese. Old people suck. We returned home and watched the Lakers’ game. After we went to Trader Joe’s we watched the Grammy’s and went to bed.

Monday was cool, Kelly from Colorado was coming into town and I was excited because I haven’t seen her for about a year and a half. Her, Toby and I went to the Kettle in Manhattan Beach, and then Kelly and I went to the Hookah bar in Westwood. This was our old stomping ground. It was nice to be back, even if it was only for a night.

Now I’m at work, on my lunch break, writing the longest BLOG in the history of BLOG-DUM. So I will now edit this and post it. Enjoy.
