I hate Internet Explorer

Well, I tweaked NIMH so it would work better in Internet Explorer (IE) Having said that, I hate working around IE’s limitations. Microsoft writes code in a way that leaves gaps and mis-alignments in the rendering (not to mention the security issues). As you may have noticed when using IE, the site had a large gap between the date and first entry.

Here is a suggestion to anybody still using IE, SWITCH TO FIREFOX and THUNDERBIRD. Firefox for surfing the web and Thunderbird to read email. Both are secure and both are open-source (any developer can aid in making the code better) and that makes for better features and better usability.

Anyway, if your still using IE, now you can see the goodness, enjoy.

  1. Sorry, but compatibility with IE should be your #1 priority – it’s used by approximately 85-90% of the Web universe. And, unfortunately, that’s not likely to change dramatically anytime soon.

IE’s implementation of CSS isn’t that bad for basic layouts like blogs. What in your code was making it break so badly?
