I don't want to work

First, good news, Toby and I finally got the Replay working on the “BIG” TV. We even set up some shows to record. Fun Fact about the Replay, you can tell the downstairs machine to record a show on the upstairs machine, pretty cool. Also, I love the interface. our Digi-Cable interface sucks, this is much better. Now we just need to set-up the option to access the Replay from the internet. Then we can schedule stuff from work. Technology is great.

In the “INTERESTING” section, we have worker evaluation forms. They arrived today and are due by Friday morning. I keep thinking of American Beauty when I start to fill it out.

Here’s a fun little quote, can you name the movie?
“So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that’s on the worst day of my life.”

Office Space
Peter Gibbons: So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that’s on the worst day of my life.
Therapist: What about today? Is today the worst day of your life?
Peter Gibbons: Yeah.
Therapist: Wow, that’s messed up!

  1. What’s with all the quizzes??? You still haven’t told us about the prize list.

  2. I feel for your situation. I found myself in a simular postion not too many months ago. I know most people don’t know what the hell they want to do but just think of what you are good at and pursue it. If you are going to spend 30-40 years of your life working then it should be doing something you like. Its hard work finding out what exactly you want to do but I see people who are happy in their work life and I aspire to that. I hope you feel like working soon.
