Here's your cake, go ahead and eat it

Finally, a dual boot system from Apple. Which system? All of them. Apple released a Public Beta of Bootcamp today. It’s basically a dual boot manager for Mac’s built on the new Intel Chips. What does that mean. It means you can get the beauty and elgance (don’t forget price) of a Mac, and ruin it by running windows if you choose. But that’s ok, because you can always switch back to OSX and let your eyes adjust to the beauty.

  1. Why do mac users can’t be happy now that the mac can have the freedom to have to good and the “crappy” OS? I read so many comments since the news came out about why would you want to put crap on your computer? It’s only an option. Why can we all be happy with this great option? Why we have to segregate…. Window can’t sit in front of the bus. Only OS X is good enough to sit in front of the bus. That’s just what i think when i hear people talk trash for non-apple products. To make it clear to anyone reading this. I think Apple OS X is great(even I am not too familiar with)and able to support windows and windows program is just a smart move and makes it even more greater. So I am not bashing Appple or defending Windows. Just want to clear that.

  2. Having a Windows on a Mac is great. One computer needed to complete all of your tasks. Windows as a business machine to handling accounting or MS Office; OSX to play your music, sort your photos, create and edit home videos, and all the other great stuff that just feels easier when working on a Mac.

A MacBook Pro with OSX and Windows is the ultimate portable computer for any person, professional or home user. I can’t wait to get one.

Software written for the Mac looks and performs better. Why, because the hardware is uniform. You don’t have to build hundreds of variables into the code. You know what hardware it will be on and you know how it will work.

With the Wintel (WinAMD) machine you have so many variables like video card and sound card. So when you write code, you have to make sure you include the option for each.
