A lot has happened since I last wrote to you. So this may get a little long, be warned. It’s the summer months that make everyone slow down. Several of the bloggers in my circle have slowed with their post. I wonder if the same is true all over. Or perhaps the luster has worn off and our group has reached its saturation point. Like all new things, it’s only new for a while, then it fades and we move onto the next thing. We shall see.
So when I was last in Sanger over the July 4th weekend, I called my mom and she told me she was having trouble breathing. She thought it was stress, so she didn’t go to the doctor or anything. Later in the week, she was still feeling sluggish. So she called the doctor and he told her to get to the hospital. When she arrived, they gave her and x-ray or cat scan or something and she had a lot of fluid around her lungs. So they had to drain the fluid. They inserted a tube and she drained like a juice box. One week in the hospital, and she’s feeling fine.
Then the heat came.
As you may know, I used to live fairly close to the beach. Well, love makes you do crazy things, so I moved to the valley with my girlfriend, Brian and Kelly. The past few weeks have been un-fucking-believable hot. And it appears that living in a house made of concrete serves to only keep in the heat. So long after the sun subsides, the house is still 10 – 12 degrees hotter on the inside. It makes for some uncomfortable times. But we are managing.
I haven’t played Halo in a while. Just been busy with other things I guess. And what other things am I referring too. Well, perhaps you’ve heard of the Time Shift Media Network. Well, it’s something I’m looking into. I want to create a podcast and videoblog network. In doing so, I can consolidate several popular shows under on advertising umbrella. This should allow us to sell advertising time to corporations. That’s the bare bones. I’ll get more in-depth at a later time.
Ok, I guess we are more caught up. I will get back to writing a regular blog entry, take some photos and work on finding music for the podcast.
When are you gettin’ hitched.
It’s pretty hot up here too. And my bedroom window is busted so I can’t open it.
