So Christmas is just around the corner. Most people have decided not to exchange gifts this year. But if you look real close, you can find some killer gifts for low low prices.
However, if you have some money, there has never been a better time to be selfish. Here are some gifts I will be buying myself and some great sub-twenty dollar gifts. Enjoy.
- Anything from Overstock.com – I like to shop for fashion watches and shoes at overstock. Check it out.
- $25 Gift Certificates from Restaurant.com – you can get a $25 gift card for $10. It’s not good on alcohol and you have to spend $35 to use the $25 but if you eat in groups of 3 or larger it’s not a problem. In addition to the food you get to enjoy, you get some conversation and catching up with friends.
- Cash – gift cards are great, but when you get stuck with $3 on a gift card and you’re on a budget you don’t want to spend $9 to save $3 – nothing spends like cash.
- Teach – as painful as it can be – offer to teach a n00b some skills about the Internet. Help your aunt start a blog or get your neighbor a flickr account and show then how to use. Give the gift of communication then never have to call them again.
- Homemade arts, crafts, and food – but don’t just give the gifts, have a make n’ bake. Invite people and have them bring some ‘ingredients’. Then you can socialize and create.
- MacBook Pro – I have some cash this year so I think I will treat myself. A MacBook Pro is the perfect gift for me.
