On Sunday, Caroline and I went to Pasadena to view “An Inconvenient Truth“. I liked it. It presented the info in a detailed but simple way. Stats are always difficult to present. One, they can be boring, and two, stats can be manipulated. So whenever I see a lot of stats, I tend to place half or 3/4 merit on the info. But it was a good movie.
One of the more important items that I took from the movie was that I really miss owning a Mac Laptop. Did you see that presentation, it was sweet and I think it was created on Keynote, the Apple presentation software. Very cool graphics and animation. Now I don’t even do presentations or anything, but that was pretty cool.
Al Gore was pretty compelling. Had he presented himself like this during the 2000 election, he would have won in a landslide. I wonder what life would have been like if he had won?
Caroline asked a very good question/statement at the end of the film, “Why are they charging to see this movie? They should show this for free. Everybody should see this movie.” I agree.
Up next, “Who Killed the Electric Car?“
I need a place to track my points, my current online food diary host ended its service:
