Well, as I mentioned earlier, I have a new job. The new job involves me working for a web design company so naturally, I work with code, hack photoshop and stare at The Matrix (speakeasy for hand coding HTML). Well, tha’s the kind of stuff I used to do after work when I was looking for something to do. Because of this, my blog has gone longing.
The cobbler’s kid has no shoes.
So when I read that Mr. Buller was having space issues, I saw it as an opportunity to upgrade our hosting. So I signed up for GoDaddy hosting and have been slowly moving things to their servers.
In the meantime, I was looking at possibly swithching from MovableType to WordPress. For those of you who are alreasy bored…stop reading here, cuz the rest sucks.
So why switch? Well, it seems that WordPress is a little friendler when it comes to creating static pages and their backend system allows for easy, on the fly static pages. Also, you don’t have to do any rebuilding in WordPress.
MovableType, however, is a very strong client and can handle more complex stuff, but you have to know some code to make it look good. Not to mention I spent two years learnig all the nuts and bolts of the program (and my site still looks like shit).
Whatever…I just bored myself to tears, I hope you stopped reading.
